With a mission to build affordable homes with site-based services that offer opportunities to change lives and strengthen communities, People’s Self-Help Housing is the longest-serving nonprofit housing organization on California’s Central Coast. Along with building and managing beautiful and accessible neighborhoods, we offer a wide range of services to promote health, well-being, and career success.
For over fifty years, People’s Self-Help Housing has brought the stability and wealth-building opportunities of home ownership to the Central Coast. Over 1,200 homes later, we are still helping families realize the American Dream.
People's Self-Help Housing is a non-profit corporation that assists low and moderate families to become homeowners and build wealth through its Mutual Self-Help Housing Program, Homeownership and Financial Education classes and counseling, individual Empowerment Savings Accounts and other related programs.
The course fee is $99 and includes one hour of Home Buyer Counseling at no additional expense. Also, if you complete the course and purchase a home within one year of enrolling in this course, you may be eligible to receive a $20 rebate off the course fee.
A Certificate of Completion will be sent to you after you complete the course.
