City of Aurora, Housing and Community Development Division is registered as a HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agency providing comprehensive housing counseling including Pre Purchase, Post Purchase, Financial Counseling, Reverse Mortgage and Foreclosure Prevention. Our in person homeownership education provides first time homebuyers with the information they need to understand and succeed in homeownership. Please Note: Our required follow-up housing counseling sessions will be completed in the same language chosen for the Homebuyer Education.
