Founded in 1965, York County Community Action Corporation (YCCAC) offers a wide variety of programs to help individuals achieve greater financial security.
Each year, our Homebuyer Education program helps hundreds of individuals to become successful home purchasers. Through classes and individualized pre-purchase counseling, we assist with all aspects of the homebuying process - determining affordability, improving credit, obtaining a mortgage, working with realtors and inspectors, preparing for the closing, and more.
Our HUD-Certified Housing Counselors also provide free assistance to help those who have fallen behind with their mortgages avoid foreclosure, or achieve the most positive financial outcome if foreclosure is unavoidable.
YCCAC's Housing Services program is the highest-volume HUD-certified Housing Counseling program in the state. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff look forward to helping you complete the eHome America course and achieve your dream of homeownership!
Please note: Couples taking the course for home purchase must complete the class individually.
