Since 1979, Southwest Housing Solutions has been a leader in the planning, development and management of affordable housing and commercial property in southwest Detroit. Our mission is to revitalize our community through collaborative, innovative, and high quality projects and by promoting homeownership.
We provide housing to low and moderate income residents including persons with mental illness and the homeless. We stimulate commercial and cultural development through mixed use projects. We also develop and implement neighborhood preservation initiatives.
Our online training has demonstrated to be a better route for those borrowers that are at the last stage of the home buying process instead of having to go through a full 8 hours class. Simply put, the online training course greatly enhances and expedites our Homebuyer Education Training.
There is a one time fee of $50 in order for the borrower to view this class online at their own leisure, in the location of their choice.
Once the prospective borrower completes the online training, there is a requirement to schedule a one-time appointment with a counselor to review the mortgage loan documentations and issue the Homebuyer Education Certificate.
