NeighborWorks® Orange County is a California 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was established in 1977 with a mission empowers people and communities to build wealth through homeownership, financial education and access to affordable homes. NeighborWorks Orange county is a part of the 235-member national NeighborWorks® network, is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), and a HUD-Approved Counseling Agency.

For over 35 years, we have served as "friendly experts" to the Orange County community guiding low-to-moderate income families up the smartest path towards homeownership. NeighborWorks Orange County currently operates the following programs/lines of business:

HomeOwnership Center. A one stop shop that provides home buyers with all the services they need in order to buy a house they can afford. Our services help clients make smart home buying decisions through:
- Low-cost home buyer education workshops several times a month
- Pre-purchase one-on-one counseling to create a personalized action plan
- Down payment options and specialized home loans for first-time home buyers
- Real estate services with the only non-profit, non-commissioned Realtors® in Orange County
Financial Fitness Workshops for stronger wallets
Foreclosure Prevention Education and Counseling to help families retain their homes
Affordable Rental Units that provide families with a place to call home
Community Building Program which empowers resident leaders to work with community partners and strengthen our communities

Through these services, we have provided over 30,000 individuals with housing related assistance since 1977.
