Neighborhood Housing Services of Beloit
NHS of Beloit is a non-profit that has been providing homeownership workshops since 1979. NHS homebuyer education program is designed to promote long term homeownership by providing ongoing training and counseling. Our philosophy is to help you become mortgage ready regardless of where you are in the home buying process.
Upon completion of this course, you will need to schedule a one-on-one counseling session with a housing counselor. We want to ensure that you are prepared for homeownership and receive the services necessary to help you fulfill your dream of homeownership. We encourage you to complete this eHome America course early in the home purchase process to provide you with the tools you need to successfully navigate the home buying experience, make the best financial decisions for your household, and make the buying process go as smoothly as possible.
Upon the completion of the course and appointment with the housing counselor (phone or in-person) a certificate of completion will be issued. Certificates can also be used for down payment assistance; additional fees apply and will be invoiced with certificate.
