Forty-six years is a long time for any business to be in existence. For a non-profit seeking to alleviate the causes of poverty in one of the poorest areas in the country, it is especially rare. That is what KCEOC Community Action Partnership has been doing in southeastern Kentucky since 1964.
Helping people, changing lives, recognizing human potential, improving communities, and creating opportunities for change are all wonderful goals and ambitions, and easy catch phrases. But the true measure of an community action agency such as KCEOC is the actual people that are impacted by what you do and how you do it. Whether is is through early childhood education, safe, affordable housing, energy assistance, economic development, or emergency services such as food, clothing or shelter, KCEOC has been serving as an essential partner in the lives of thousands of area residents since 1964.
