Information about this Agency:

The Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc. ( EOC ) is a not-for-profit 501 3 (c) multi-service agency that has been servicing the Nassau and Suffolk, N.Y. communities for over 40 years.

Services we provide are as follows: Homeownership counseling, mortgage default and foreclosure prevention counseling, credit and budget counseling, family development services,child care services, chronic healthcare coordination services, targeted prevention education and supportive services which include transportation services, services for people with developmental disabilities, supportive services for Veterans and families and youth and adolescent services. EOC is a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency and HomeSmart NY member.

Upon conclusion of this course, your one-on-one counseling session with a housing counselor will be conducted. Following this, you will be presented with your Homebuyer Education certificate.

• The counseling agency  will require you to complete  additional documents before your counseling certificate is  issued ;
   
• A one to one follow up counseling session  will not be scheduled until after all required documents are completed and submitted back to the counseling agency;
   
• The one to one follow up counseling session will be scheduled within 24 hours after required documents are received.
