Adamo Community Solutions, Inc. and its 20-year partner Opa-Locka CDC's primary mission for this program is to assist first time home buyers in removing barriers to achieve AND sustain long term affordability. Combined, for more than 50 years, they have continuously worked in tandem in pro-actively confronting and bringing effective solutions to barriers to homeownership for 1st time homebuyers and minority groups within the State of Florida. Both corporations are Miami-Dade approved housing agencies. Opa-Locka CDC is also a HUD-certified agency.
Since 2000, the partners educate (in a class room setting) a minimum of 600 prospect home buyers in the pre-purchase process and at least 300 existing homeowners in financial fitness (and now foreclosure intervention) especially in budget, credit & short sale processes annually. Using their unique housing coach method conducted in one-on-one sessions, they create and deliver personalized homeownership readiness assessments to about 200 prospect buyers every year.
The fee of $75 includes the on-line course and a private one-on-one session. If you're a couple, you BOTH must complete this course individually & the private session together. The private session may be provided 48 hours after successful completion of this course. Our technique allows the private session be customized to where the buyer is in the home buying process & its specific needs.
