Avenue CDC is an award-winning non-profit organization that provides homebuyer education and counseling to residents from throughout the greater Houston metropolitan area. In addition to the online homeownership course, participants benefit from a one-on-one counseling session that includes information on downpayment assistance and tax credit programs available through the City of Houston and Harris County.
Please note, the individual counseling session and some documentation are required in order to receive Certificate of Completion.
If you are receiving a grant for a portion of your loan, each member purchasing the home must take the course.
E-Home America's homebuyers education classes do not meet the education requirements of the City Of Houston DAP Program, but are valid with other lending sources. Please check with your lender.
